Petr Cech to snub Liverpool for Arsenal?

Chelsea's Petr Cech would prefer to join Arsenal rather than Liverpool, according to reports.

Out-of-favour Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech would favour a summer switch to Arsenal ahead of Liverpool, according to reports.

Cech, 32, is expected to leave Stamford Bridge after falling behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order this season, with the Blues' Premier League rivals keen to sign him.

However, the Czech, who will be available for around £10m, would prefer a switch to North London, according to The Mirror.

The Gunners have effectively secured Champions League qualification, while Liverpool's hopes of the top four were dealt a blow by losing 1-0 to Hull City on Tuesday.

Big-spending French champions Paris Saint-Germain are among the non-English clubs also hunting his signature.

He is contracted to Chelsea until 2016.
