Rudy Gestede has been chosen to partner Jordan Ayew in attack for Aston Villa as they try to end their 16-game winless league streak at home to West Ham United.
Gestede's inclusion ahead of Scott Sinclair is the only change made by Remi Garde from the 1-1 draw at Newcastle United last Sunday.
West Ham, meanwhile, have drawn their last three matches 0-0 for the first time ever in the league and Slaven Bilic will hope that Enner Valencia's return to the starting lineup can help them score a goal.
The Ecuadorian is picked ahead of Nikica Jelavic to lead the Hammers' line, while in midfield Pedro Obiang is preferred to Alex Song in the anchor-man role.
