Ollie Watkins is expected to be available to lead the Aston Villa line in Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Villa Park.
The England international had ice on his ankle after being replaced in the second half of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Young Boys - a match where he found the back of the net.
However, Villa head coach Unai Emery said after the fixture that Watkins was "okay", so the forward should be fit to lead the line, with Jhon Duran therefore potentially having to accept a spot on the bench.
Boubacar Kamara, Tyrone Mings and Matty Cash remain unavailable for selection, but Villa have not reported any further injury problems ahead of their return to Premier League action.
Amadou Onana has been in excellent form for Villa in the early stages of the season, and he will again operate in central midfield alongside Youri Tielemans.
Morgan Rogers is also in line to keep his spot in an attacking position, while Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres and Lucas Digne are expected to continue at the back for Villa.
Leon Bailey was not risked against Young Boys in the Champions League, and the Jamaican attacker is again expected to be among the substitutes for the first whistle on Saturday afternoon, as Villa, who are fifth in the Premier League table, look to make it four straight wins in all competitions.
Aston Villa possible starting lineup: Martinez; Nedeljkovic, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Onana, Tielemans; McGinn, Ramsey, Rogers; Watkins
