Miguel Moya disappointed with defeat

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Miguel Moya admits that Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Sociedad 'didn't go as his side wanted'.

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Miguel Moya has admitted that his side struggled to find their best form in Sunday's 2-1 defeat at Real Sociedad.

Mario Mandzukic sent the champions ahead at the Anoeta, but the home side responded to claim all three points.

"It was strangely complicated for us after we scored the first goal, because to that point we were good, with clear ideas," he told AS.

"Then came the equaliser, which went against the grain. After that was the expulsion of Guilherme Siqueira, and that always has an effect.

"I don't think it was a lack of firepower. Sometimes things just don't go as you want. It didn't go as we wanted and they ended up getting level."

Atletico currently sit fourth in La Liga, four points off the leaders Real Madrid.
