Adil Rami hoping to make up for lost time

AC Milan defender Adil Rami vows to make up for lost time after seeing his career stall this season.

Adil Rami has insisted that he is now a stronger person despite his career stalling this season.

The Frenchman ended his Valencia career under a cloud in January by moving to AC Milan after openly criticising the Spanish club.

The centre-back has only recently featured for Milan, but is now keen to make up for lost time.

"I took a step back and this time allowed me to reflect on some points and grow up," he told L'Equipe.

"I was also able to rest. Afterwards, thanks to Milan, the support of my family and my strength of character I was able to overcome this period.

"Today I'm coming back stronger and contrary to what some people have said, I'm not dead."

Rami could be involved against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this evening.
