Barcelona B fall to disappointing final-day defeat

First-half goals from Antonio Nunez and Jesus Vazquez gift Recreativo de Huelva a 2-0 win over fellow relegated side Barcelona B in Andalusia.

Barcelona B have rounded off their Segunda Division campaign with a 2-0 defeat away at Recreativo de Huelva this evening.

The Catalan club, who have already been relegated to the third tier of Spanish football, fell to two first-half goals at the Estadi Nuevo Colombino.

Former Liverpool midfielder Antonio Nunez gave Recreativo the lead 26 minutes in, before Jesus Vazquez added a second 10 minutes later.

Despite the win, El Decano also drop out of the division, joining a Barcelona side with just two wins in their last 19 outings.
