Luis Enrique is hopeful that Barcelona can take a huge confidence boost from their thrashing of Huesca into their final game of the calendar year.
The Catalan giants secured their spot in the fifth round of the Copa del Rey with a comprehensive 12-1 aggregate victory over the third-tier opposition.
Despite resting key names such as Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Xavi, Enrique insists that his side could not have played any better across the two legs.
"Considering there was very little incentive heading into the game I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of fans who came to support us and the players were all very good - individually and collectively," he told the club's official website.
"They are not easy games to play and this has been a booster for everyone. We weren't too worried about a shock and I think we played incredibly well in defence. In my opinion, the opponent are at a much higher level quality-wise than the Segunda B division.
"However, it is difficult to imagine us doing a better job than we did in this match, with our mentality, our attitude and our defensive structure."
Barca see out their year with a La Liga fixture against Cordoba on Saturday, looking to bounce back from their disappointing goalless draw last time out at Getafe.
