Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has welcomed the return of "main man" Lionel Messi.
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner scored twice on his return from a two-month layoff with a hamstring injury against Getafe on January 8, and his teammate said that Messi's comeback is great news for everyone involved with the club.
He told reporters: "His return is great news for the coach, for the club, for everyone. We feel very secure with Leo back.
"Hopefully it doesn't have to happen anymore and he can be fit for the rest of the season. It's always important that when your star player cannot play and is not on the pitch, that the other players step up their game and feel more important.
"We always just try to do better for the team [when he is out]. But obviously he is our main man and we always hope he can be next to us on the pitch."
Barca are currently top of La Liga.
