Angel Di Maria open to Barcelona move?

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria is reportedly open to linking up with Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria has reportedly decided that he is open to a transfer to Barcelona.

Di Maria has enjoyed an impressive three years at the Parc des Princes, with a total of 50 goals being scored in 123 appearances in all competitions.

However, the Argentine has just over a year remaining on his contract and with PSG needing to improve their position with FFP, it may lead to the 30-year-old being sold in the summer.

According to reports in Spain, both Barca and Atletico Madrid are interested in the playmaker, but Di Maria is said to prefer a switch to Camp Nou.

Between 2010 and 2014, Di Maria spent time at Atletico's city rivals Real Madrid, which could be a reason behind the player's stance.

Earlier this month, Di Maria admitted that ending his time with the Ligue 1 champions in the summer was 'a possibility'.
