Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu confirms Paul Pogba interest

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu admits that Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is a top transfer target for the club.

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has confirmed that the club are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

Pogba played against Barca on Saturday night as Juve were beaten 3-1 by the Catalan giants in the Champions League final.

Despite being banned from signing players until 2016, Bartomeu has revealed that the 22-year-old Frenchman is one of Barcelona's top targets.

"It is true that Pogba is a leading target of ours and obviously we are interested, but I can't say anything more," he told Telefoot. "We are forbidden to recruit players until January, so I can't talk about it."

Pogba joined Juventus from Manchester United in 2012.
