Barnsley have announced that midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has signed for the club on a permanent deal from Arsenal.
The 22-year-old has been shipped out to numerous clubs on loan after failing to secure a regular spot in Arsene Wenger's first team.
Following a temporary spell at Fulham, Frimpong has now penned a permanent contract at Barnsley running until June of this year after the Championship outfit agreed an undisclosed fee with Arsenal.
Frimpong made 16 senior appearances during 13 years at the Gunners.
