Preview: Bayer Leverkusen vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's Champions League clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United in Germany.

Manchester United can qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday if they earn a win in Germany against Bayer Leverkusen.

David Moyes's side head into the match at the top of Group A with two victories and two draws from their opening four fixtures.

However, Leverkusen sit one point behind United and can take a big step towards the next round if they defeat the English champions.

The Red Devils ran out 4-2 winners when the teams met at Old Trafford back in September.

Sidney Sam is expected to miss out for the hosts with a thigh injury, while Phil Jones and Michael Carrick remained sidelined for the visitors.

Meanwhile, Robin van Persie and Nemanja Vidic could return for the away side after the pair sat out Sunday's 2-2 draw at Cardiff City in the Premier League.
