Borussia Dortmund's team doctor has revealed that he expects playmaker Mario Gotze to be fit in time to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on May 25.
The club's coach Jurgen Klopp admitted recently that Gotze might not recover in time to play again this season, which would have made his appearance against Real Madrid his last for the club.
However the player, who joins rivals Bayern in the summer, now has a "realistic" chance of playing in the final, according the club's Dr Braun.
Gotze was injured in the semi-final against Real Madrid, in which Dortmund went through 4-3 on aggregate.
