Bastian Schweinsteiger returns to Bayern Munich's starting lineup for their Bundesliga match against Mainz.

Bastian Schweinsteiger has come into the starting lineup for Bayern Munich's trip to Mainz in the Bundesliga this evening.

The midfielder is one of three changes for the German champions following their 2-0 win over Freiburg earlier this week.

Pierre Hojbjerg and Jerome Boateng also come into the side, while Xabi Alonso and Robert Lewandowski drop out of the squad, along with Medhi Benatia.

Meanwhile, Shinji Okazaki, who is Mainz's top scorer with eight in the league this season, leads the attack for the hosts.
