Benfica sign Eliseu from Malaga

Benfica sign defender Eliseu from Malaga on a two-year contract.

Benfica have completed the signing of Eliseu from Spanish club Malaga.

The experienced defender has signed a two-year contract with the Portuguese outfit in a move that sees him reunited with his former Belenenses coach Jorge Jesus.

"In these years I spent in Portugal and now Spain I evolved as a player and I want to continue," he told Benfica's official website.

"I'll now be trained by someone as passionate and tactical as Jorge Jesus."

Benfica previously strengthened their squad with the summer arrivals of Victor Andrade and Luis Felipe.
