Bournemouth are reportedly tracking Chelsea youngster Dujon Sterling ahead of a potential move for the player in the January transfer window.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe attempted to sign the 18-year-old right-back in the summer, but Antonio Conte was keen to keep Sterling.
The youngster recently penned a new deal at Stamford Bridge and according to The Sun, now that the player's future is secured, it is possible that a loan deal could be struck between the clubs in the New Year.
Howe is reportedly keen on Sterling and wants the player to challenge Adam Smith at right-back for the club after doing the same with Nathan Ake last term.
Ake was loaned from Chelsea to the Cherries and had a good spell at the club before being recalled by the Premier League champions.
