Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed that the club's new signings show their intention of making an immediate return to the Premier League.
The Bluebirds have already recruited striker Javi Guerra from Real Valladolid and midfielder Guido Burgstaller from Rapid Wien.
"These two signings are a statement of intent from a club looking to push for promotion next season," Clubcall.com quotes Solskjaer as saying.
"It was a tough season for Cardiff City in the Premier League, but we enjoyed being able to play against some of the best teams in the world.
"To have the chance of getting back to the top flight and to grow as a club we'll need quality players who can help us achieve our ambitions."
Cardiff finished bottom of the Premier League this season.
