Chelsea could become just the second team to hit 600 Premier League wins when Aston Villa pay a visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.

Chelsea will endeavour to hit a Premier League win milestone when they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.

Thomas Tuchel's side have made a positive start to their title bid in the 2021-22 season, claiming wins over Crystal Palace and Arsenal while holding Liverpool to a 1-1 draw.

The Blues' three points at the Emirates represented their 599th win in the Premier League, and victory over Villa would therefore represent Chelsea's 600th in the competition, in turn becoming just the second team to hit that milestone.

However, Tuchel's side are still some way behind Manchester United - who boast a total of 689 triumphs in the Premier League - while Arsenal and Liverpool sit third and fourth with 597 and 583 successes respectively.

Furthermore, the 45 points that Chelsea have earned since Tuchel took charge can only be bettered by Manchester City's 51, although their most recent game against Villa ended in a 2-1 defeat during the final weekend of the 2020-21 season.

The Blues currently occupy fourth spot in the fledgling standings ahead of Saturday's game.
