Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich 'approves at least three more signings'

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly given manager Jose Mourinho the green light for another spending spree.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly given manager Jose Mourinho the go-ahead to recruit at least three new players following the Blues' 3-0 mauling by Manchester City.

The Russian businessman is ready to give Mourinho the additional funds he needs to compete with City this season, according to The Mirror.

Everton defender John Stones is said to top the Portuguese coach's shopping list, along with a central midfielder and at least one new attacker.

Chelsea have already had two bids for Stones rejected after failing to meet Everton's reported valuation of £34m.

The Blues recently announced the capture of defender Abdul Rahman Baba, signed from German side Augsburg in a big-money deal.
