Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich 'in Milan to seal double deal'

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich reportedly decides to travel to Milan in an attempt to wrap up the signings of Juventus pair Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly travelled to Milan to tie up deals for Juventus pair Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain.

With Maurizio Sarri now being confirmed as the replacement for Antonio Conte, Chelsea are looking to move in the transfer market and Jorginho has already been signed from Napoli.

Rugani and Higuain have also been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, and according to Corriere dello Sport, Abramovich has decided to conclude both transfers.

The report claims that the Russian has already arrived in Italy to hold discussions with Fabio Paratici regarding a double deal for the pair worth £89m.

Sarri has worked with both players in the past, with Rugani having previously spent time at Empoli and Higuain representing Napoli before joining Juve in 2016.

Juventus are open to making a number of sales this summer due to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
