Chelsea are considering a swoop for unsettled Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly considering a swoop for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.

Suarez has not played a single minute of La Liga football this term, with his only action coming in the Copa del Rey.

The 24-year-old scored three times in 27 appearances for Barcelona last season, but he has not been in the plans of head coach Ernesto Valverde in the early stages of the 2018-19 campaign.

The midfielder is said to be open to leaving Camp Nou amid interest from AC Milan, but according to Marca, Chelsea are also interested in signing the Spaniard, with Blues boss Maurizio Sarri an admirer of his talents.

Suarez has scored six times and registered 10 assists in 64 games in all competitions for Barcelona.
