Borussia Dortmund are reportedly hopeful of extending Youssoufa Moukoko's contract amid interest from the Premier League.
Moukoko has become a key figure in Edin Terzic's side despite his age and he made his international debut in November prior to the World Cup in a warm-up match against Oman, before going onto make his World Cup debut in Qatar for Germany, aged just 18, leading to interest from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund are pushing to extend his deal and are hopeful of agreeing terms due to the good relationship between the player and the club, although the proposal has to be improved soon due to interest from Europe.
Romano also states that timing is crucial as there are 'two or three top clubs' that are prepared to enter the race to sign him in January.
The 18-year-old has six goals and six assists in 22 games this season for the German side, having started 12 games in total across all competitions.
Moukoko made his debut for Dortmund in 2020 aged just 16, becoming their youngest-ever player following a stellar season for their Under-19 side where he scored 38 and assisted a further 10 in just 28 games.
