Borussia Dortmund open to Chelsea securing Robert Lewandowski signature?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly willing to discuss a possible transfer with Chelsea over striker Robert Lewandowski.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly open to allowing striker Robert Lewandowski leave the club for Chelsea in the summer.

The Bundesliga outfit are thought to be keen on holding on to the Poland international following Mario Gotze's agreement to join rivals Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

While Dortmund are keen for the prolific striker to stay put, Lewandowski has been heavily tipped to leave the club, with Bayern, Manchester United and Chelsea all being touted as possible destinations.

With Dortmund reluctant to hand over another one of their players to Bayern, the club are believed to be willing to open negotiations with Chelsea involving a part-exchange deal with Kevin de Bruyne, according to the Daily Star.

Lewandowski, who became the first player to put four goals past Real Madrid in the Champions League, is reportedly rated at £25m.
