Noel Hunt scored the only goal of the game as Reading overcame a gritty Derby County side at Pride Park this evening.
On a night where chances were rare, the goal came from a delightful move.
On the hour mark, Hal Robson-Kanu dispossessed Jamie Ward and spread the play to Jimmy Kebe. The Malian winger stood up a great cross and Hunt powered it down beyond Frank Fielding and into the net.
The win was the Royals' eighth in ten games, while the Rams are without a win in their last four.
