Hoffenheim have gone to Eintracht Frankfurt and taken the three points in a Bundesliga game that could have gone either way.
After a slow start to the contest, which included a number of fouls from both teams, Takashi Inui tried his luck from distance but Jens Grahl got well behind it.
The visitors then had an opportunity and Sven Schipplock might want to have done better after meeting Andreas Beck's cross, but made his header comfortable for Kevin Trapp.
Both sides continued to have chances - mainly from distance - but they went in at the half-time break level at 0-0.
Immediately after the restart the visitors took the lead. Roberto Firmino slid the ball through to Schipplock, who finished neatly into the far bottom corner.
The celebrations were cut short, however, as just two minutes later Joselu turned the ball into an empty net after being found by Kevin Volland.
The lead went straight back to Hoffenheim and the two players who combined for their first were at it again, this time Schipplock cutting back for Firmino.
It remained end-to-end but there were no further goals as Hoffenheim claimed a good away win.
