France boss Didier Deschamps feels that his side could have got something out of their World Cup qualifying defeat to Spain in Paris.
Pedro scored the only goal of the game in the 58th minute. However, Patric Evra had a great chance saved by Victor Valdes at the death, despite France being reduced to 10 men following the sending-off of Paul Pogba.
"There were situations that were unfavourable," Deschamps told TF1, "but we had opportunities, even 10. We do not blush. It could have happened differently.
"We did see beautiful things. Spain is still Spain. We battled and they were not alone, even when we were [down to] 10."
France have now fallen behind Spain into second place in Group I.
