Ashkan Dejagah: 'Fulham will work hard'

Ashkan Dejagah insists that the Fulham squad will work hard this week ahead of Saturday's Premier League encounter at home to Manchester City.

Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah has insisted that the squad will work hard this week in order to take points from Saturday's Premier League encounter at home to Manchester City.

The Cottagers head into the match one point adrift of safety in the table following last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Everton.

Despite City's impressive form this season, Dejagah is hopeful that Fulham can come away with a positive result against the former English champions.

"City have a great team with a strong attack so we will have to work very hard this week and try and forget the Everton game and hopefully we can take some points against City," he told the club's official website.

Fulham have lost five of their last six fixtures in the Premier League.
