Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov is reportedly close to a switch to Monaco before the close of the transfer window this evening.
The Bulgarian was previously linked with a move to Arsenal, but more recently was tipped to return to Tottenham Hotspur.
While reports have claimed that the 33-year-old is keen to remain in London, it has now been reported by the Daily Mail that Berbatov could be on his way to Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
The forward, who moved to Craven Cottage from Manchester United in 2012, has five months remaining on his contract.
