Team News: Kevin Doyle handed Wolves start for Gillingham test

Kevin Doyle is handed a starting berth for the visit of the Gills, while the visitors name two changes to the side who lost to Colchester last weekend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has named Kevin Doyle in his starting lineup for the visit of Gillingham in League One on Saturday.

The Republic of Ireland international displaces Bjorn Sigurdarson in the team following last week's stalemate with Preston North End, while David Edwards also drops out of the side in favour of Zeli Ismail.

Gillingham manager Martin Allen, meanwhile, has also opted to make two changes following the 1-0 defeat to Colchester last week. Michael Harriman comes in for the injured Matt Fish, while Myles Weston is handed a starting berth ahead of Chris Whelpdale.

Wolves: Ikeme; Doherty, Batth, Stearman, Ricketts; Ismail, Davis, Evans, Sako; Doyle, Griffiths

Gillingham: Nelson; Harriman, Martin, Legge, Barrett; Gregory, Linganzi, Lee, Kedwell; McDonald, Weston
