Inter Milan are being held to a goalless draw by Catania after 45 minutes of their Serie A match this afternoon.

Rodrigo Palacio had a good chance to open the scoring for the home side in the fifth minute when he latched onto Esteban Cambiasso's through-ball, but he fired over the bar.

Midway through the half, Diego Milito came close to breaking the deadlock, but Alberto Frison pushed his low strike around the post.

The home side completed dominated the possession, but were unable to find the back of the net, as the first half finished level.
