Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni admits that he made "mistakes" in his side's 1-0 defeat to Bologna on Sunday.

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that he made "mistakes" in his side's 1-0 defeat to Bologna on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri suffered their second loss in three days after Alberto Gilardino's goal gave the visitors the points at the San Siro, and the Italian coach confessed that he got it wrong.

"I make mistakes, just as everyone does," Stramaccioni told reporters after the match.

"I thank the president for his faith in me, but I'd like to thank him with results. This is a difficult moment and it's important for us to get back some of our players.

"I see many sides tripping up and I think the Champions League spots are still within reach."

The defeat leaves Inter in fifth in Serie A.
