Inter Milan come from 2-0 down to take all three points at Catania this afternoon, thanks to a late brace from Rodrigo Palacio.

Catania failed to turn a two-goal advantage into three points this afternoon thanks to a rousing comeback from Inter Milan, who won the Serie A encounter 3-2.

Inter made the changes in search of a return to form, with coach Andrea Stramaccioni choosing to start veteran Tommaso Rocchi in attack.

Catania started brightly and took advantage of some sloppy defending from Inter to open the scoring after just seven minutes.

Gonzalo Bergessio was on hand to punish Juan Jesus for a poor touch, robbing the defender before applying a cool finish from close range.

Giovanni Marchese put the home side 2-0 up on 19 minutes with a header after more sloppy marking form the visitors.

Ricardo Alvarez responded for Inter on the hour mark, turning home a diving header from inside the six-yard box.

The equaliser was scored by Rodrigo Palacio 20 minutes from time when the substitute guided in an accurate cross from Alvaro Pereira.

Inter pressed for a winner in the closing stages and their persistence paid off through Palacio, who netted the decisive strike deep into injury time.
