Darko Milanic has insisted that he can cope with the pressure of becoming Leeds United manager.
The 46-year-old sealed a two-year deal with the Championship club this week, replacing Dave Hockaday.
Owner Massimo Cellino sacked Hockaday after just 70 days in charge, but Milanic has insisted that he is unfazed by the pressure on his shoulders.
"[Cellino] told me my job is to make the squad better and be prepared to play in the Premier League," Milanic told reporters. "I have no timescale. I have to do a great job as soon as possible. I know that everyone has pressure. It's not new for me."
Leeds are currently 12th in the Championship table.
