Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has claimed that he wants to bring in another eight players to make his squad ready to compete in the Championship.
Warnock has brought in four players so far this summer, but believes that he does not have enough players for pre-season games to be of any use.
"I'd probably like to bring another eight in," Warnock told the Yorkshire Post. Don't forget you need a squad, not just the top-end-of-the-market players. You need players for back-up when you get injuries all of a sudden. You've got to have a decent squad.
"This is the first time I've ever gone back for pre-season training without squad numbers. Quite honestly there could be so many changes in the next few weeks that there was no point."
Jason Pearce, Adam Drury, Paul Green and Paddy Kenny have all joined Leeds so far.
