Leicester City midfielder Matthew James said his side "have to perform" against their promotion rivals during a busy Christmas period.
The Foxes secured a 1-0 victory over Reading on Boxing Day thanks to David Nugent's first half penalty.
James told the club's official YouTube channel: "When we've got these types of teams you have to perform because if you don't the other teams will."
"We've put up some good performances and got some good results.
"But now we look forward to the next game."
Leicester welcome Bolton in their next league game on Sunday.
