Liverpool are handed an injury scare after Andy Robertson is forced off with an injury while representing Scotland against Denmark on Monday night.

Liverpool have been handed an injury scare ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture against Arsenal.

Andy Robertson featured for Scotland as the Tartan Army recorded an impressive 2-0 victory over Denmark on Monday night, earning the nation a home tie in the World Cup playoffs.

However, the left-back was forced off during the closing stages of the contest at Hampden Park with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

While the 27-year-old was able to walk around the pitch after the full-time whistle, he has just five days to shake off the apparent muscle issue.

Robertson has been provided with 11 starts in the Premier League and Champions League this season, the defender having not always played due to a minor injury or being rested by Jurgen Klopp.

Kostas Tsimikas would likely deputise for Robertson if he fails to recover in time for the fixture versus the Gunners.
