Jurgen Klopp admits that he is happy with his Liverpool side's progress after they move two points off the top six.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is happy with his side's progress after they moved two points off the top six with a 2-0 win over Watford on Sunday.

The result capped a week in which the Reds also booked their place in the final of this season's Europa League with triumph over Villarreal in a memorable night at Anfield.

"Everything is okay, no injuries, 58 points, so not too bad," Klopp told reporters after the match. "I did not think about the finals, but it is like this. The Europa League is now our only chance of going to the Champions League and the Europa League is partly the reason we have 58 points.

"But that is how it is, it is no problem, it is our situation and I have seen a lot of improvement in the team, and individual players, so that is really okay.

"We are eighth and perhaps we can get seventh or sixth, I do not know, but it depends of course on results. Next game is Chelsea, when hopefully it is not as warm as today, and if we win all of our last games, then I am really satisfied."

Liverpool welcome the Blues on Wednesday night before travelling to West Bromwich Albion for the final game of the season next Sunday.
