Liverpool to assess injuries suffered by Glen Johnson, Alberto Moreno

Liverpool will assess the injuries suffered by Glen Johnson and Alberto Moreno today after the pair picked up knocks during their defeat to Manchester City last night.

Liverpool will attempt to learn the extent of the injuries suffered by Glen Johnson and Alberto Moreno today.

The duo picked up problems in the second half of last night's 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Johnson's knock resulted in the team finishing the match with 10 men, while Moreno appeared to plant his foot awkwardly but had to continue playing as Liverpool had used all their substitutes.

Today, the Reds will assess the pair's injuries before preparing for this Sunday's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports News.

Moreno made his debut for Liverpool after joining the club last week from Sevilla.
