Liverpool have reportedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Roma goalkeeper Allison Becker, after the Brazilian made the Reds his 'top priority' for a move away from Italy.
Brazilian source UOL Esporte claims that Alisson, who has also received interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, will try to carve out a move to Merseyside should he fail to agree a deal with his current employers.
Liverpool are keen to find a long-term goalkeeper after manager Jurgen Klopp, who has switched between Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius this term, remains unconvinced by either of his current shot-stoppers.
Alisson has made 14 clean sheets from 32 appearances this term, with Roma a point above derby rivals Lazio in the Serie A table.
The club, who also remain in the hunt for Champions League glory, lost 2-1 to Shakhtar Donetsk in their last-16 first leg earlier this week.
