Liverpool looking to end Javier Manquillo's loan early?

Liverpool are said to be looking into ending Javier Manquillo's loan from Atletico Madrid one year early.

Liverpool are looking into the possibility of ending right-back Javier Manquillo's loan early, according to reports.

Manquillo, 21, is at Anfield on a two-year loan from Atletico Madrid but he has made just three appearances since Christmas, none of them in the league.

According to ESPN, the Spaniard's chances of first-team football look even more limited now following the arrival of Nathaniel Clyne.

Liverpool can also rely on Andre Wisdom and Jon Flanagan to play in the right defensive role, although the latter is currently out injured, while Glen Johnson recently left the club on a free transfer.
