Report: Harvey Elliott in line for new Liverpool deal

Harvey Elliott is reportedly set to be offered a new contract by Liverpool after impressing on loan with Blackburn Rovers.

Liverpool are to offer teenage midfielder Harvey Elliott a new and improved contract, according to a report.

The 17-year-old penned professional terms with the Reds last summer, 12 months after arriving from Fulham for an undisclosed fee.

Elliott has made nine senior outings for the English champions, but he was sent out on loan to Blackburn Rovers in October to gain further experience.

After scoring four goals and assisting eight more in 22 Championship appearances, Football Insider claims that Liverpool are keen to tie the youngster down to a new deal.

Elliott is said to be in line for a big pay increase on a deal that will run beyond 2023, which is when his existing contract is due to expire.
