Report: Eintracht Frankfurt target Bernd Schuster

A report claims that Eintracht Frankfurt have met with Malaga boss Bernd Schuster with a view to the German becoming their new manager next season.

Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly met with Malaga boss Bernd Schuster with a view to the German becoming their new manager next season.

Schuster has a rolling five-year deal with Malaga, but it is understood that he can leave this summer if the Spanish club do not finish in the top half of the table.

According to Kicker, secret talks have been held between the two parties and Schuster is the strong favourite to replace outgoing manager Armin Veh at the German club.

Schuster, who last managed in Germany 15 years ago, took charge of Malaga at the start of the season.
