Manchester City captain Fernandinho has not been named on the club's retained list of players for next season.
The 36-year-old, who has been at the Etihad Stadium since 2013, will see his contract expire at the end of this month.
Fernandinho has been included on the Premier League's released list, which was published on Friday, along with Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia, who have already completed moves to Spanish giants Barcelona.
According to Sky Sports News, the Brazilian midfielder has been offered a new deal, though terms have yet to be agreed and negotiations are still at an early stage.
In order to comply with Premier League rules, all 20 clubs had to submit their retained list before Friday's announcement and with Fernandinho's future still up in the air, his name does not feature.
Fernandinho has had a trophy-laden nine-year spell with City, making 350 appearances across all competitions, winning four Premier League titles, six League Cups and one FA Cup.
