Leicester City have reportedly rejected a bid worth £38m from Manchester City for defender Caglar Soyuncu.
The Turk, signed as a Harry Maguire replacement in the summer, has produced a series of excellent performances under Brendan Rodgers this season.
City, on the other hand, have come under criticism for failing to replace Vincent Kompany over the summer - a decision that was made worse by a knee injury to Aymeric Laporte in August.
According to The Sun, Leicester have batted away City's £38m offer for Soyuncu, with the Foxes valuing the player at around £60m.
Rodgers has already insisted that the club would not countenance the sale of any key players over the January transfer window.
Alongside former Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, Soyuncu has claimed eight clean sheets this season - more than any other Premier League club.
