Manchester City are reportedly considering a move for PSV Eindhoven youngster Gaston Pereiro.

The 20-year-old - who can play in midfield or on the wing - joined the Eredivisie champions from Uruguayan outfit Nacional in July on a five-year-deal.

Pereiro has scored eight goals in 23 appearances for PSV so far this season, and according to the Manchester Evening News, City sent a club scout to track the forward in his side's 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.

Pereiro has scored six goals in 12 international appearances for Uruguay Under-20s.
