Manchester United have signed teenage forward Anthony Martial from Monaco on a four-year contract.
The 19-year-old emerged as a transfer target for the Premier League outfit on Sunday evening, and it is understood that a figure in the region of £36m was agreed on Monday.
The forward completed a medical in Manchester before returning to France earlier on Tuesday. Now, the transfer has been confirmed by Man United.
"I am so excited to be joining Manchester United. I have enjoyed my time at AS Monaco and I would like to thank them and the fans for everything they have done for me," Martial told the club's official website.
"I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and to join the biggest club in the world is what every young footballer dreams of. I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates and working with Louis van Gaal who has achieved so much in his career."
Martial leaves Monaco having made more than 70 first-team appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
