Jose Mourinho pleased with win over Crystal Palace

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that his team "were in good control" during Saturday's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has said that his team "were in good control" during Saturday's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Marouane Fellaini netted twice, while Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku were also on the scoresheet as United recorded their sixth league victory of the 2017-18 campaign.

There were periods of the match where Palace threatened to harm the Red Devils, but Mourinho has revealed that he was pleased with his team's overall performance at Old Trafford.

"I'd rather swap one 4-0 win for four 1-0 victories but I know that's not possible. We are happy, we played solid, we played strong from the beginning, we were in good control," Mourinho told reporters.

"There were some little mistakes, which is typical from some of their players and is typical from playing against a team which is lacking in confidence, which they are."

Next up for United is a trip to bitter rivals Liverpool after the October international break.
