Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has insisted that the Premier League leaders need to pay special attention to Andy Carroll when West Ham United visit on Wednesday.
Carroll, who is currently on loan at the Hammers from Liverpool, scored his first goal for the club in Sunday's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
"Andy Carroll is a handful. He is physical and makes it hard for opponents. That type of player doesn't always get all the goals but they can cause trouble up front and create problems," he told reporters.
Rooney is expected to be partnered by Robin van Persie in the United attack at Old Trafford.
