Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has reportedly rejected the chance to represent Scotland.
The 20-year-old has been regularly involved for his club in the early stages of the 2017-18 campaign, and impressed on his full Champions League debut against Benfica on Tuesday night.
The midfielder was born in Lancaster, but qualifies for Scotland through his father.
According to The Sun, Scotland offered McTominay the chance to play in next week's international friendly against Netherlands, but he rejected the offer as he wants to wait for an England call.
McTominay, who has previously played as a striker, was promoted to United's senior squad at the start of the 2017-18 campaign.
