Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim refused to engage in a discussion over Alejandro Garnacho's future when questioned on the attacker ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with Rangers.
Garnacho is currently being heavily linked with a move away from Man United; Chelsea are said to have an interest, but Napoli appear to be firmly at the head of the queue for the Argentina international.
Napoli are said to have had a £40m offer for the 20-year-old rejected at the end of last week, but Man United are believed to let him leave for a fee in the region of £55m.
The Red Devils are not actively looking to sell the ex-Atletico Madrid youngster, but there are concerns whether he is suitable for Amorim's 3-4-3 system, where he has been used as one of the number 10s.
Any sale of Garnacho would also count as pure profit under the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules, and there is thought to be a genuine chance that he could leave Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.

Garnacho continues to be linked with Napoli, Chelsea
Garnacho was training on Wednesday ahead of Man United's Europa League clash with Rangers, and he is set to be in the squad for the European fixture at Old Trafford.
Amorim was asked about the possibility of the forward leaving during his press conference, but the Portuguese refused to reveal whether his player could be on the move before the end of the winter transfer window.
"Let's focus on the game, I don't want to talk about that, especially before a game," the manager told reporters.
Garnacho has scored eight times and registered five assists in 32 appearances for Man United this season, and he has been in the starting XI for two of the team's last three matches.
There may be a lot of movement at Old Trafford before the end of the January market, as Marcus Rashford is also expected to leave on loan, so a new attacker could arrive over the next two weeks.

Will Man United sign any players this month?
Man United are currently being heavily linked with Lecce's Patrick Dorgu, with the 20-year-old seemingly emerging as the club's first-choice target for the left-sided wing-back position.
Meanwhile, as mentioned, exits for both Garnacho and Rashford would put Man United in the market for an attacker, and there are believed to be four players on that particular shortlist.
According to the Daily Mail, Ipswich Town's Liam Delap, Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, Wolverhampton Wanderers' Matheus Cunha and Lille's Jonathan David are all on the club's radar.
David is out of contract this summer, and in theory, that would be the most straightforward deal in January out of the four, but Lille are still hopeful of keeping hold of the Canadian for the second half of the campaign.
